Nature's Buildings

This picture purely demonstrates how a natural and urban environment coexist and still give off their own little flare. Both can be beautiful and simple in their own way. Unfortunately the tree will grow to an enormous size and live a long prosperous life without humans, while our own creations will wither and die as time passes slowly. A picture can so so much with so little.

Looks Or Life?

I recently read the article containing information about kids focused primarily on their appearance, and was perplexed to learn that many kids post videos about this sort of subject. This certain fascination and total obsession with looks has completely overrun the media today, in many ways negatively. The fact that children at the age of 10 and over would post videos of themselves asking for opinions on how they look is completely shocking and utterly repulsive. Why does humanity seek such attention toward the way they look, what is so important about this sort of thing? Furthermore, this could make many children have a very low self-esteem and feel vulnerable and negative all the time. Always seeking for the opinion of others will only help you in social events, people have to learn to live with themselves despite the way their nose is shaped or how their hair looks.
It's obvious enough that humanity and future generations will just get worse and worse, more obsessed with how they are on the outside and not on the inside. The main cause is all the social media that's floating around, boggling up a child's thoughts, making them want to be what is so "hip" and "cool". Is it really "cool" to make yourself anorexic and coated with fake beauty? If parents and other such mature groups want to put a stop to this they must first stop the monster within themselves, rip out the attention greedy ego that lurks inside them and realize there are much more important things in life. Then and only then can you protect the children of our society and remove all kinds of negative media, throw out your glossy golden eye liner, your american apparel skinny jeans, your "ten quick tips on losing weight" magazine, and your chocolate scented body beads! And embellish yourself and your kids in the rich comfort of knowing that you are the best thing that you could be.
